“Academia can’t be reformed from within”

Before George Floyd, most Americans couldn’t imagine violent protests breaking out on their streets — let alone riots and vandalism. University of California Professor John M. Ellis could and did. Over the course of a few crucial decades, the radical Left methodically took over America’s college campuses. It has eradicated dissent and replaced scholarship with indoctrination. Cities across the US are in turmoil. Following the killing of George Floyd by a white police officer, mobs have descended into extreme acts of looting and vandalism. Historic monuments have been pulled down by jeering crowds. Activists and politicians are demanding the defunding or outright abolishment of police. Yet more politicians, intellectuals, and establishment journalists cynically rationalize the wanton destruction. What was once considered fringe is now mainstream.
