Just four and half, short years ago, then-candidate Donald J. Trump vowed that he would build a “big, beautiful wall” along the United States’ southern border with Mexico.  “Nobody builds better walls than me, believe me,” the real estate tycoon boasted.  “Boom.  Bing.  Done.  Keep going.”  Now, having departed to his Mar A Lago fortress in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump leaves behind 453 of the pledged 1000 mile bulwark, with another 285 miles under construction.
