Clean it up!

Yes, there were irregularities. Will that be enough for Trump to overturn the result? Unlikely. But the American election system is a mess in need of an urgent fix.

The debate over whether the U.S. presidential election has been tainted by fraud - as President Trump alleges - has its origin in decisions last spring to use the Coronavirus as an excuse to transform how Americans vote in elections.
“Coronavirus gives us an opportunity to revamp our electoral system,” President Obama’s former attorney general, Eric Holder, told Time magazine. “These are changes that we should make permanent because it will enhance our democracy.”
