Gervais Golden Roast

British comedian and 77th annual Golden Globes television and film awards host Ricky Gervais wants to know: “How the f-ck can teasing huge corporations, and the richest, most privileged people in the world be considered right wing?”
Sunday night, the caustic comic roasted Hollywood’s glitterati assembled at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles in their finery to backslap, grip and grin, preen and pose, and (many hoped) demand pay raises on their next movie deal with freshly gleaming trophy in hand. Some were not amused by Gervais’ flame throwing antics from the awards stage.
