What does it take to bring down the ferocious weight of the Federal Bureau of Investigations — one of the most feared and powerful police organizations in the world — on a US presidential campaign?  Scandalously little.
During and after the 2016 presidential campaign, a small group of highly placed FBI officials, armed with shoddy opposition research supplied by the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton campaign, ignored established FBI procedures, abandoned minimal professional standards, and even committed outright fraud in their pursuit of Donald Trump, their great, orange whale.
