Race for the Black Vote

It’s not an election night without a cable news pundit accusing conservatives, the Republican Party, and the grand orange master, himself, President Donald Trump of racism.  MSNBC political talk show host Joy Reid took her turn at bat, hitting out at Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, accusing the second African American ever to serve on the highest court of being a race traitor.  Speculating that election litigation may wind up before the nine black robes, Reid sneered, “If somehow [the Trump campaign] manage to stumble into the Supreme Court, do any of you guys trust Uncle Clarence,” a snide reference to the ugly smear of racial treachery often hurled at Bla ...
