Last summer, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was widely condemned by the mainstream media as an anti-science, right wing crank leading the Sunshine State into a dark COVID winter.  One local lawyer made national headlines stalking Florida’s beaches in a Grim Reaper costume demanding that “DeathSantis” close the state’s powdery white sands.
