Swiftboating Trump

Last week, the Atlantic Monthly detonated the bombshell allegation that, in 2018, President Donald Trump refused to visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery outside of Paris, calling the World War One veterans buried there “losers” and “suckers.”  The report opened with the incendiary claim by shadowy anonymous sources that Trump, “blamed rain for the last-minute decision, saying that ‘the helicopter couldn’t fly’ and that the Secret Service wouldn’t drive him there. Neither claim was true.”
