The two world leaders agreed to a 90-day time out from Trump’s impending tariff hikes on Chinese imports into the US.  The hike from 10 to 25% on $200 billion worth of Chinese imports, and tariffs on an additional $267 billion on Chinese goods were set to kick in New Year’s Day.  The détente clock started ticked December 1st.
